You guys check out Sonic 4: Episode 1 yet? The physics are pretty close to that of classic Sonic 1, 2 and 3… although as Trunks points out, they can also be a little wonky.

After all, what's a little "physics issues" in a game with a protagonist who is a blue hedgehog (that runs faster than sound to boot), has a diet that consists of naught but chili dogs and rings, can use emeralds to superpower himself AND has a 9-year-old-fox-girl-turned-boy-due-to-America's-hyper-sensitivity-sidekick, hmm? (Quite a mouthful, that.)
