This is the first time any of us has done anything like this, so we just picked a bunch of topics and talked about them, I realize we went off topic (i cut a lot of that out too, just left in the stuff i thought was decently funny or interesting.) Combination of problems i had with soundbooth (DAMN YOU COMPRESSION!) and the fact that i was studying for my finals during this and the days after.
ANYWAY! Now that we know what we are doing, we have made some needed changes to it!

The fancast itself will last around an hour, no more then an hour and a half.

what I'm saying is, I wouldn't enjoy the game, because every 5 seconds I'd get mad at the game because samus is lacking in independent thought, and the scene with ridley…. that ruined the entire thing for me.
That scene wasn't too bad. Remember Ridley's the reason behind the death of her family, her friends AND the chozo? Also he just came back from being ON Zebes when it fucking exploded. It's a reasonable expectation for her to be shocked.
…and I'm arguing. Figures.
I wouldn't say we are arguing, I'd say we are having a inteligent discussion, also this is after super metroid, super metroid is towards the end of the time line, in fact only other m and fusion occur after super metroid, meaning as of other M she has killed ridley so many times, it's become part of her daily routine. so what I'm saying is that it makes no sense she dosen't just kick his ass.
Or, alternatively, she starts seeing how futile it is to fight him seeing as he always returns.
Also, notice how Ridley's always the hardest boss. He's like Death in Castlevania. No matter how many times you fight him, it's still a harrowing experience.
I would say motherbrain's the most difficult in the original. also your side of the arguement makes sense, but even if she realized the futility of fighting him, why does she have no problem with it in metroid fusion?
1. Sprites don't show emotion, so you can't tell.
2. Ridley-X, not Ridley.
Also, Mother Brain was easy. It took me one try to kill her and 5 to kill Ridley.
it took me 1 try to kill all the bosses, motherbrain just happened to hurt me the most. ALSO I'd rather not spend my entire day hacving this discussion so here's a smiley :D

Yes I liked it. I am Phoenix btw. Game is actually good if you can ignore Samus's monologue, which only appears in the beginning and end. Doesn't affect gameplay.

Representing all fans that, like me, can't barely understand english without reading it i would like to ask for better sound quality for some of the hosts.
I heard it and i must confess that i made a brutal effort to understand what Haru and this new guy "Daifkuku" (saw this name somewhere. Humm…) were saying. Yes, it was easier to understand even what Twohats said.
Anyway, that was awesome. :3

Indeed, i would like to know who this "Daifkuku" is. And i don't know, maybe he was stuck in a hotel and couldn't get a good mic and had to use the crappy factory mic in his laptop? Just a shot in the dark.

Daifkuku? I think he's a wizard… He lives in a box in San Antonio and eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches by the doezn. The box in San Antonio is in the corner of some comments page and he got shot by a troll about 5 weeks ago… tragic loss for this site as he lurked and provided much +1's. Maybe We're talking about different people? Anyways I hope you'll be in the next podcast for sure because of your large contributions to the site such as your comments. :P
