I'm gonna go with Megaman 2. It was the crowning achievement of the franchise, since the original kinda sucked and 3 admitted that it wasn't as cool as 2 by having you fight the bosses from 2 with crappier weapons. Metal blades beat everything in 2, so why would they do worse against such powers as snake and top? Basically until the X series the only good Megaman game was 2.

well, in game it was'nt great, but it was closer to the original than the one in eight, not to mention that it's the most popular megaman sprite in comics and stuff. :P
Mainly because it was a higher definition version that looked like the original. I just like the art style in 8 because it's closer to my tastes in art.

well yeah, the level art is great, but if you compare it to the others it just doesn't seem to fit… I still enjoy the game, but I just don't really like how megaman looks and sounds… it seems a little odd to me… o.o
also, the space dude (can't remember his name… universe man? galaxy man? the second one sounds right, but I think that's in mm9…) his level is INSANELY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O,O

The Mecha Dragon is actually IMMUNE to Saw Blades! It's real weakness is Quick Boomerangs or Atomic Fire.
