@ SilverWolf
Someone who wants attention. (And is probably getting a lot.)

I don't know what you people's respective DS's are made of, but I'm on my 4th.
I sat on my first one (White original), balancing all my weight on it, for about 3 seconds, and the screen cracked. (Ironically, I did it to show off Nintendo products' durability)
The headphone jack on my second one (Blue original) mysteriously stopped working one day.
My 3rd one, White Lite, still works fine, but the bottom screen is kind of hard to see through because of years of abuse. (And months of Elite Beat Agents)
My current one, a blue and black Lite, currently has a screen protector, carrying case, and is cleaned after every time I use it.
However, our SNES, which my mom played with while she was pregnant with me, still works like a charm, along with both of our N64s, our Gamecube, and my Wii.

Seriously people, what's so wrong with the DS Lite? I have both and infinitely prefer the Lite. Also, on the topic of durability, I own at least one of every American Nintendo TV and handheld system, and they ALL work like new. I really wonder if this is real or Photoshopped though? I can believe that it still works (only screen damaged and the ribbon cable is all that's needed to make the Top Screen and speakers work), but who would do that to a DS and post the pic online?

My Gameboy Colour is see-through and purple- and has ants in it. o_o

But on the subject of the picture - ULTIMATE FAIL. I've got a DS Lite because they didn't have any of the fat ones at Wal-Mart when I went to buy it. And the spine feels like it can snap in two. But I never, you know, thought about doing THAT.

Nintendo DOES make some seriously good hardware. I've had my Game Boy Color for over 10 years, and it's suffered the worst abuse possible at the hands of remorseless 2-year-olds. Hell, my little brother once threw it smack-dab at tile, and it STILL works great.

I think I must be pretty good with my stuff compared to others here.
My GameCube only dropped twice,
My Wii dropped three times due to someone yanking on their gamecube controller cord,
My DS however... It's gone through the worst of the other of my systems.
It dropped five times and had a milkshake spilled on it.
Only effects I've seen is that sometimes when starting up, sound only comes out one speaker. Games still work like normal, though, both speakers and everything.
...I forget what my gameboy has gone through, though.
My N64 only fell maybe... once or twice.
Don't ask about my SNES, though. It was sold by my dad a long time ago... Same goes for my PSX, but that's a different story.
